Aishwarya Rai Biography:

Aishwarya Rai is a famous Indian actress and a celebrated model. She was crowned Miss World in 1994 and six years later she was still the ‘Most Beautiful Miss World of All Times’ credited with the highest score of 9.911. Aishwaraya Rai is the only Indian actress to have her wax figure made and displayed in Madame Tussaud's wax museum in London in 2004.

Aishwarya Rai, the queen of the glittering glamorous world of Indian cinema had acted in several movies in Hindi besides acting in all major languages of Indian cinema like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali. She had also acted in a couple of English movies.


Aishwarya Rai – Her Family Background:

Aishwarya Rai, Aish or Aishu or Gullu to her close friends, was born on November 1, 1973 in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Her father Krishnaraj is a marine engineer and her mother Vrinda Rai is a writer in her own right. Her brother Aditya Rai is in merchant navy. He had a co-produced a movie with her sister in the lead. She learnt classical dance and music while in her teens.

Aishwarya Rai is fluent in Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil and English. Her native language is Tulu. A fervent devotee of Lord Ganesh Aishwarya Rai, in her free time religiously visits famous Siddhivinayak Mandir and seeks the blessings of Lord Ganesh.

She did her schooling in Hyderabad until 7th grade and then her family had shifted to Mumbai, where she continued her schooling in Arya Vidya Mandir at Santacruz. After schooling, Aishwarya Rai joined Ruparel College at Matunga, Mumbai to study architecture. She was a brilliant student with A grades and was on the verge of becoming an architecture. But fate decided otherwise.
